Seasonal Team Chef
Location: Seaton - Beer Head
Salary: £15–£16 per hour (with accommodation)
Hours: 40+ hours per week | 2 days off per week
Venue: Fresh food restaurant on a popular coastal campsite (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner service)

The Opportunity
This is a fantastic seasonal opportunity for a talented Chef to join a well-established, independent fresh food restaurant set on a stunning coastline.
You’ll be part of a close-knit team of chefs, delivering high-quality dishes across breakfast, lunch and dinner service. The venue is known for its strong team culture, with many staff returning year after year.
The kitchen works with excellent produce, including whole-carcass butchery (two full cows per year), and fresh fish sourced locally. The menu features a mix of classic gastro pub favourites alongside seasonal specials, including dishes such as burgers, lasagne, fish and chips, mussels, Seabass and spring lamb. They have onsite Pizza oven and rotisserie for stunning full chickens.
Service levels typically range from 60 covers on average to 80–100 covers during busy Sunday lunches.
This role would suit a confident chef who thrives in fast-paced services, is comfortable running the pass, organising tickets, and ensuring high standards on every plate. You’ll also be involved in prep and have the opportunity to contribute your own specials.
As an independent business, you’ll work closely with an owner who encourages creativity and values fresh ideas.

What We’re Looking For
Minimum 2 years’ experience at Sous Chef level or similar
Confident running sections and supporting the pass during service
Strong team player with a positive, no-ego attitude
Passion for fresh, seasonal produce
Previous seasonal experience desirable but not essential
