We are looking for a reliable and friendly Temp Breakfast Chef to join the kitchen team at a busy hotel and spa in Helmsley. This is a temporary role ideal for someone who enjoys working mornings, delivering high-quality breakfast service and supporting a welcoming guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present hot and cold breakfast dishes to the venue’s standards

• Operate breakfast section during service, ensuring timely delivery of plates and buffet replenishment

• Maintain high standards of food quality, portion control and presentation

• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures, including cleaning and closing duties

• Work collaboratively with front-of-house to deliver excellent guest service

• Assist with basic stock rotation and reporting low-stock items to the supervisor

About You

• Previous experience working in a breakfast or similar kitchen environment is preferred

• Valid Food Hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Ability to work early shifts and weekends as required

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well under pressure during busy service periods

• Team player with a positive, guest-focused attitude
