We’re seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our client’s award-winning multi-outlet country estate near Ripon, North Yorkshire, focusing within their modern Pan-Asian restaurant. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef with fine-dining experience to step into a creative, dynamic environment where quality, presentation, and flavour take centre stage.

The Role

You’ll be supporting the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the Pan-Asian kitchen, ensuring consistency and excellence across all dishes. The estate prides itself on delivering a high-end dining experience with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and an exciting menu inspired by flavours from across Asia.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with menu execution and service delivery
• Leading and motivating the kitchen team in the Head Chef’s absence
• Maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene and safety
• Ensuring smooth daily operations in a fast-paced, multi-outlet environment

The Ideal Candidate

• Background in 1–2 Rosette-level or similar high-standard kitchens
• Proven experience with Asian-inspired cuisine or a passion to develop in this area
• Calm under pressure with excellent organisational skills
• A strong communicator and supportive team player
• Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of a busy estate operation
