🍴 Chef de Partie – Modern Gastro Pub (North Yorkshire)

We’re looking for a talented Chef de Partie to join the team at our client’s modern gastro pub near Ripon, North Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a brand-new kitchen, producing quality dishes made from scratch with fresh, seasonal ingredients.

💷 Salary: £30,000 + tips

📅 Service Hours:

• Wednesday: Dinner only
• Thursday – Saturday: Lunch & Dinner
• Sunday: Lunch service only (12–6)
• Monday & Tuesday: Closed (guaranteed days off!)

👨‍🍳 About the Kitchen:
You’ll join a small, focused brigade including a Head Chef, Sous Chef, and Commis. The menu is modern pub classics — not huge, but everything is cooked fresh with care and creativity.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standard.
• Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to maintain consistency across all sections.
• Take ownership of your section, ensuring mise en place and prep are completed to schedule.
• Support the team during busy service periods to deliver smooth, efficient service.
• Uphold all food hygiene, safety, and allergen procedures.
• Contribute ideas for specials and seasonal menu updates.
• Assist with stock rotation, labelling, and waste management.
