Our client is a growing, forward-thinking pub group where food is at the heart of everything they do. They are now seeking a Head Chef to lead one of their kitchens, inspire a talented brigade, and deliver food experiences that live up to their high standards.
The Role
As Head Chef, you’ll be the heartbeat of the kitchen—balancing creativity with commercial discipline. You’ll lead from the front, set the pace, and ensure every dish that leaves the pass is something to be proud of.
Key responsibilities include:
- Food Leadership – keeping menus consistent, flavours bold, and presentation beautiful.
- Kitchen Standards – running a clean, safe, compliant kitchen that exceeds expectations.
- Financial Savvy – achieving food GP targets, managing stock effectively, and minimising waste.
- Team Development – recruiting, training, and mentoring your team to help them grow.
- Culture & Care – leading with heart, recognising success, and fostering a positive workplace.

About You & Eligibility
You’ll already have experience as a Head Chef (or senior sous) in a quality, high-volume kitchen. You’ll be hands-on, resilient, and equally comfortable at the stove and with a spreadsheet.
As per the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006, you must be eligible to live and work full-time in the UK. Evidence will be required during recruitment.
