With a warm, traditional charm and modern hospitality excellence, this family-run gastro pub with rooms is looking for a Restaurant Manager to lead the front-of-house team and ensure every guest experience is unforgettable.

🧾 Your Responsibilities

• Oversee daily front-of-house operations across bar, brasserie, terrace, and events
• Lead and motivate the FOH team to deliver outstanding customer service and memorable experiences
• Manage bookings, guest inquiries, and event coordination with precision and professionalism
• Ensure smooth service during busy periods and maintain high standards across all service styles
• Collaborate with the Head Chef and senior team on service flow, menu launches, and promotions
• Handle staffing, rotas, training, and performance management
• Maintain health & safety, licensing compliance, and stock control
• Build rapport with regular guests and uphold the warm, welcoming reputation of the venue

✅ What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager in a high-quality, fast-paced hospitality setting
• Confident team leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• A strong eye for detail and commitment to service excellence
• Organised, reliable, and calm under pressure
• Experience coordinating events, weddings, or private dining is a plus
• Passion for British hospitality and genuine care for guests and team alike
