💷 Pay Rate: £15.68 per hour
⏳ Hours: Approx. 35 hours per week
📜 Requirements: Enhanced DBS & Food Hygiene Certification

Nightingale Chefs is looking for a Temporary Head Chef to join our team and support a Leeds-based children's home. This role is perfect for an experienced chef who is passionate about creating nutritious, high-quality meals in a care-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Plan and prepare fresh, well-balanced meals for children and staff
✅ Ensure all dietary requirements and preferences are met
✅ Maintain high food safety and hygiene standards
✅ Manage kitchen operations, stock control, and ordering
✅ Work within safeguarding guidelines and maintain a safe kitchen environment

Requirements:

✔️ Previous experience as a Head Chef or similar role
✔️ Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
✔️ Level 2 or 3 Food Hygiene Certification
✔️ Strong leadership and kitchen management skills
✔️ Ability to adapt menus to suit nutritional needs
