Are you passionate about creating exceptional dishes using the finest seasonal ingredients? Our client, a well-established regional hospitality group, is looking for a talented Sous Chef to join their team at their upmarket gastro pub near Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire.

The Role
As Sous Chef, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards of quality and consistency that this gastro pub is renowned for. Working closely with the Head Chef, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen team and overseeing daily operations. You will have the opportunity to take charge during the Head Chef’s absence, ensuring the smooth running of all kitchen activities, from menu development to stock management.

What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have a background in high-quality gastro pubs, with experience at a senior level. You should have a strong knowledge of seasonal ingredients and be able to deliver outstanding dishes that reflect the venue’s commitment to excellence. A proven ability to run the kitchen efficiently in the absence of the Head Chef is essential.

• Assisting the Head Chef in menu creation and food preparation
